Job summary

Tambadana seeks an experienced Assistant Manager, Finance (Tax & Regulatory) to strengthen our finance function across Malaysia. You will lead corporate tax compliance, regulatory matters and coordinate with tax agents, auditors and authorities.

You will support month-end closing, financial reporting and budgeting, while ensuring accurate tax records, documentation and timely submissions for Wawasan Cojaya Sdn Bhd and Fingular Tech Sdn Bhd. Strong Malaysia tax knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Tax or Accounting with Malaysian tax exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian corporate tax, WHT, SST, stamp duty and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with CP204/CP204A, Form C, LHDN/MyTax and RMCD matters.
• Experience managing tax agents, auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax matters for both entities.
• Prepare, review and coordinate CP204, CP204A, Form C and other corporate tax submissions.
• Oversee Withholding Tax (WHT), SST and stamp duty matters.
• Monitor tax compliance, filing requirements and payment deadlines.
• Review tax treatment of significant transactions and provide recommendations to management.
• Support tax planning initiatives to ensure appropriate tax treatment and compliance.
• Maintain complete and accurate tax records, supporting schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate statutory submissions with authorities.
• Coordinate tax agent, auditor and regulatory inquiries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and other ad hoc financial analysis.
• Provide support on finance-related process improvements.
