Job summary

Elite Material (Penang) Sdn Bhd (EMC) seeks a Tax Executive to lead the company’s tax compliance and advise on Corporate Income Tax, SST, WHT, transfer pricing and GMT matters. The role partners with internal teams, tax agents and authorities to ensure timely filings and accurate disclosures.

The position requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Taxation with at least 3 years in taxation or related fields, and proficiency in English and Mandarin for cross-border coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance/taxation.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant taxation or audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Corporate Income Tax, SST, WHT and tax filing requirements.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, with ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s tax compliance including tax filing, reporting and liaising with external tax agents and authorities.
• Handle indirect tax matters including SST, WHT and stamp duty with timely submissions.
• Manage Corporate Income Tax matters including computations, filings, schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate Transfer Pricing documentation and liaise with external agents.
• Support GMT/Pillar Two compliance, including related reporting.
• Oversee MIDA Tax Incentive applications and compliance monitoring.
• Monitor tax regulations and provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Support tax audits and related projects as assigned.
