Job summary

iSoftStone is seeking a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Malaysia, focusing on end-to-end IT and technology recruitment and selected non-technical roles across projects.

You will build candidate pipelines, source and screen talent, and partner closely with hiring managers to manage candidates through the process. A minimum of 1 year in IT hiring and good English/Mandarin communication are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year IT/tech recruitment experience.
• Experience hiring Software Engineers, DevOps, Cloud, Data, QA, or IT support roles preferred.
• Own transport required for Setia Alam office; hybrid work.
• Strong sourcing, screening, and interview skills with hiring-manager collaboration.
• Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese communications.

Job description

We are looking for a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support the end-to-end recruitment of IT and technology professionals, as well as selected non-technical roles across assigned projects.

You will be responsible for building strong candidate pipelines, sourcing and screening talent, partnering closely with hiring managers, and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.

This role is ideal for a recruiter with at least 1 year of experience in IT/technology hiring who enjoys working in engaging with candidates, and delivering quality talent to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to build a strong pipeline of candidates.
• Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates through direct sourcing and networking.
• Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates' technical skills and cultural fit.
• Maintain a strong candidate pipeline and provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress.
• Act as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage candidate offers and negotiations, working closely with HR and hiring managers to secure top talent.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively source and recruit technical talent.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform ad-hoc daily operation tasks that assigned by reporting manager.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Pyschology or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience, with hands-on experience hiring for IT / technology roles preferred.
• Candidates with experience recruiting Software Engineers, DevOps, SRE, Cloud, Data, QA, IT Support, Cybersecurity, or other IT professionals are preferred.
• Own transportation is required for travelling to our office in Setia Alam (hybrid working arrangement)
• Experience managing recruitment activities from sourcing to offer closure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of job requirements and the ability to assess candidates based on skills, experience, and role fit.
• Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, JobStreet, Indeed, or other job portals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
• Fluent English and good Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills are required, as some business stakeholders and technical teams may communicate in Mandarin on a daily basis.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, priorities, and deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of relevant employment practices and recruitment regulations.
