About your role
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company's end-to-end talent acquisition strategies and supporting business leaders through effective recruitment delivery. The role will oversee talent sourcing strategies, talent pipeline development, employer branding, and recruitment analytics, while ensuring an effective and positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies in partnership with business leaders and HR, including anticipating hiring needs, identifying critical positions and recruitment priorities.
- Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, from sourcing, screening, assessment, interviews, offer negotiation to onboarding coordination.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and provide recommendations on hiring strategies, talent sources and talent availability.
- Lead recruitment for critical, senior and specialised positions, including direct sourcing and engaging senior candidates where required.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates, particularly for critical or specialised positions.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring.
- Manage and provide direction to the Talent Acquisition team, including setting goals, monitoring performance and providing coaching and development.
- Oversee the use and effectiveness of recruitment platforms, agencies, vendors and talent acquisition channels.
- Monitor recruitment progress and ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timelines and targets.
- Drive initiatives to improve candidate experience and overall recruitment process.
- Lead employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, hiring progress, sourcing effectiveness, offer conversion and recruitment costs, and provide regular insights to management.
- Manage recruitment costs and vendor utilisation to ensure effective use of budget and resources.
- Provide insights based on recruitment analytics and market information including talent availability, competitor hiring and salary benchmarks to support hiring decisions.
- Drive early-career programs, university partnerships and related initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment practices are consistent, inclusive, and compliant with local requirements.
- Support and participate in key recruitment projects and other HR initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of talent acquisition / recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Prior in-house corporate recruitment experience is preferred.
- Experience in supervising a Talent Acquisition team.
- Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and sourcing, including passive talent.
- Experience handling senior, critical or specialised recruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and hiring managers on workforce and recruitment requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of recruitment platforms, sourcing techniques and candidate search methods.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use recruitment data to identify trends and improve hiring outcomes.
- Experience in talent mapping and proactive sourcing.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in managing recruitment vendors/agencies.
- Good understanding of relevant employment legislation and recruitment practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
