Our Regional Expansion

As part of our entry into the Malaysian market, we are assembling a core, high-performing team in Kuala Lumpur to lead our cross-border operations, regional recruitment, and market acquisition.

About the role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Executive to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our recruitment operations, bridging the gap between talented candidates and our client organisations. As a Talent Acquisition Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting high-quality candidates to meet our clients' staffing needs. This role is essential to the success of our business, as you will directly contribute to building strong candidate pipelines and maintaining our reputation as a premier recruitment partner in the market.

What you'll be doing

Regional Recruitment Execution: Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management) for wholesale and corporate positions across both the Malaysia and Singapore markets.

Active Sourcing & Headhunting: Leverage agency experience to build robust talent pipelines via proactive headhunting, job portals, and professional networking.

Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with the Head of HR and department hiring managers to understand specific talent requirements, business goals, and team dynamics.

Candidate Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless, transparent, and highly professional interview process from initial outreach to offer stage.

Market Intelligence: Provide ongoing insights on talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor landscapes in both the MY and SG markets to advise internal stakeholders.

Operational Agility: Maintain accurate candidate data in the ATS/recruitment trackers and assist the Head of HR with continuous improvements to the regional hiring process.

What we're looking for

Experience: Approximately 2 years of solid recruitment experience. A background in a recruitment agency or executive search firm is highly preferred.

Regional Exposure: Proven experience recruiting for corporate roles; exposure to hiring within both the Malaysia and Singapore markets is strongly advantageous.

Skillset: Strong grasp of modern sourcing techniques, boolean searches, and candidate evaluation methods.

Work Style: Highly autonomous and adaptable. Must be comfortable working in a hybrid setup and navigating the transitional phase before the physical KL office is fully operational.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to manage and negotiate with candidates and hiring managers effectively.

Basic Compliance: A foundational understanding of local employment landscapes (e.g., basic awareness of SG MOM requirements and MY labor standards) to facilitate smooth hiring processes.
