Job summary

IBM is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support Taiwan payroll accounting activities, workforce-related reporting, employee shift schedule monitoring, and payroll-related GL reconciliations. This role requires Strong Traditional Chinese communication with stakeholders and English documentation.

You will serve as a key liaison between Finance, HR, Payroll Operations, and Taiwan stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll accounting and timely reconciliation in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll accounting and payroll GL reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP/BlackLine/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly payroll-related general ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze payroll transactions and validate payroll accounting entries.
• Investigate and resolve payroll-related reconciling items and variances.
• Ensure payroll costs, benefits, taxes, accruals, and deductions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
• Coordinate with payroll providers, HR, and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end payroll close activities.
• Monitor and maintain employee shift schedule reports for non-regular working hour employees.
• Validate workforce scheduling data and identify reporting exceptions.
• Support preparation of labor utilization and workforce management reports.
• Coordinate with operations and HR teams regarding schedule-related data issues.
• Assist in tracking overtime, premium pay, and other workforce-related reporting requirements.
• Prepare payroll-related reports and reconciliations.
• Perform trend and variance analysis on labor costs and payroll expenses.
• Support management reporting requirements related to workforce costs.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and special investigations.
