Job summary

Cricut Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering Team. You will own system-level integration across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software to deliver a reliable 3D printer platform from prototype to mass production.

You will lead cross-functional technical discussions, drive design integration, and partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to ensure product readiness and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration, product development, validation, or troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing or related printing systems (FDM/FFF) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of how mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software interact.
• Experience supporting NPIs from prototype to mass production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own integration of mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software subsystems into a complete 3D printer platform.
• Define, validate, and manage system interfaces, requirements, and operating limits.
• Lead system bring-up, debugging, and issue resolution from prototype through production.
• Drive system architecture reviews and mitigate integration risks early.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and supplier teams to ensure production readiness.
