Cricut is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Malaysia to support development, manufacturing, and ongoing improvements of our products. Focus areas include sustaining existing electrical designs, resolving production and supply-chain issues, and qualifying alternate components throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with schematics, PCB layouts, test equipment, and cross-functional partners to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in analog and digital circuit/PCB design.
• Experience bringing up boards and debugging.
• Familiar with EMI/EMC testing and regulatory requirements.

Mansioni

• Modify schematics and PCB layouts for alternative components and cost reductions.
• Evaluate and qualify alternative components to address obsolescence and supply constraints.
• Perform board-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical issues.
• Develop ICT/FCT plans and requirements for testing.
• Support EMI/EMC testing to meet FCC/CE requirements.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to resolve issues.
