Job summary

ADI Resourcing is seeking a Systems Architect Storage & DPS in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on pre-sales technical support for storage and data protection, architecting system infrastructures, and leading proposal activities for enterprise customers.

The candidate will study requirements, prepare BOMs, coordinate with partners, and deliver proofs-of-concept, presentations, and solution verifications. Strong English and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years working experience in System Infrastructure environment on storage and data protection, preferably in pre-sales support.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscape and cloud architectures.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong proposal writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• To provide pre-sales technical support to System business primarily on storage and data protection solutions.
• Study, analyze, integrate and architect system infrastructure solutions according to customers business, technical and operational requirements.
• Assist in bidding activities including solution architecting, preparation of BOM, liaising with partner/principal on technical aspects, solution verification, proposal write-ups, customer presentations, clarifications, proofs of concepts and other related activities.
• Liaise with principal and act as technical champion for assigned solutions/products/technology.
• Coordinate with internal or 3rd party deployment teams to ensure successful project deployment.
• Interface with customers to provide consultancy services.
• Demonstrate strong customer focus, drive for results, and interpersonal savvy.
• Prioritize workloads, solve problems, and present and write proposals including BOMs and proofs-of-concepts.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years working experience in System Infrastructure environment on storageand data protection, preferably in pre-sales support.
  
• Principal certification from Veritas, DELLEMC, NetApp, HPE, Veeam is an addedadvantage.
  
• Fair knowledge in common IT landscape for enterprise customer environment
  
• Must possess a strong desire to pursue and develop future career in pre-sales area, tofocus on design, architecting and sales support.
• Strong specialization knowledge in either Veritas, DELLEMC, NetApp, HPE, Veeamsolution is a strong advantage.
• Sound understanding in Public/Private Cloud architecture with good knowledge in endto-end solution integration.
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Good documentation and proposal writing skills
• Good inter-personal and communications skill with all levels
