Job summary

Celestica Malaysia is seeking a Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications Design (System Validation) to guide cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of complex systems. You will architect, validate, test, and integrate solutions, coordinating with customers, supply chain, and project leadership to ensure robust, high-quality products.

The role emphasizes design leadership, interpretation of requirements, reliability, and manufacturability, with possible travel to support field deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in systems engineering and design integration.
• Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain and software/hardware engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions across multiple technical areas; lead smaller projects.
• Review customer documentation, conduct research, analysis and experiments with minimal guidance.
• Create technical proposals with timelines based on requirements.
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs and coordinate teams.
• Test, simulate and measure system performance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation for systems and projects.
