Job summary

Celestica in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design to drive development of electrical systems and schematics for diverse applications. You will lead cross‑functional teams and translate customer requirements into robust designs.

Responsibilities include leading multi‑domain design efforts, reviewing specifications, coordinating with manufacturing, test, supply chain and project leadership, and creating reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.
• Review, interpret and may negotiate customer requirements/specifications and provide customer feedback
• Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
• Proactively promote industry best practices
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. E.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
• Testing, simulation and measuring the performance of systems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
• Create reports and documentation
