Responsible for supporting server rack system integration manufacturing, with focus on product analysis, liquid cooling system integration, leak testing, coolant filling, and related equipment maintenance. The Engineer will work closely with NPI, Production, QA, TE, IE, and Design teams to ensure product quality, manufacturability, process stability, and production readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and E&E product analysis for server and rack system integration
- Review engineering drawings, BOM, specifications, and product requirements
- Analyze mechanical interfaces, fitment, alignment, clearance, fastening, and assembly conditions
- Analyze E&E interfaces including connectors, cables, power connections, grounding, and signal connections
- Identify product-related risks and provide technical solutions to improve manufacturability
- Support NPI builds, product validation, engineering changes, and production ramp-up
- Develop, establish, and improve processes for coolant filling, draining, flushing, and system preparation for liquid cooling systems
- Support installation and integration of coolant hoses, fittings, valves, manifolds, CDU, and related components
- Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, and other problem-solving methods
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for product and process issues
About you
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, NPI, product engineering, system integration, or equipment engineering
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly and E&E system integration
- Basic knowledge of liquid cooling systems, pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, manifolds, leak testing, and coolant systems
- Basic knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, BOM, and manufacturing processes
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
