Job summary

IPENET Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Junior Engineer to support installation, testing and maintenance of audio visual and video conferencing systems. You will assists on-site and remotely coordinate with the project team, with travel to customer sites across Johor and a base at the Petaling Jaya office in Kuala Lumpur.

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, IT, Networking, Audio Visual technology or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, IP networking and common AV connections; willingness to develop these skills through training.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom or similar video conferencing platforms is an advantage.
• Able to communicate clearly in Malay and understand technical documentation in English.
• Practical problem-solving skills, willingness to learn and a professional approach to customers.
• Able to organise assigned site visits, provide timely progress updates and follow tasks through to completion.
• Willing to travel regularly to customer sites. A valid driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of audio visual and video conferencing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve basic issues involving displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, AV connections and meeting-room systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and system checks using approved procedures.
• Coordinate assigned site activities with the project team, installers, subcontractors and customers.
• Provide customers with basic system demonstrations and operating guidance during handover.
• Maintain accurate service reports, site photos, equipment records, test results and updates on outstanding issues.
• Escalate complex faults, site delays and technical risks promptly to the technical lead or project manager.
• Follow site safety requirements and company procedures.

Job description

With the growth of the business, we are looking for Junior Engineers interested in audio visual and video conferencing systems. You will support project installation, system setup, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites, with guidance from our technical team.

• Johor — priority vacancy: Home-based field role supporting customer sites and projects across Johor. This role does not operate from a company office. It requires regular travel to customer sites, with coordination and technical support provided remotely.
• Kuala Lumpur: To be based at Petaling Jaya office supporting customer sites and projects within the assigned area.
