Job summary

Qaaf Resources Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Systems Analyst focused on Customer & Billing to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and designs.

You will work with business stakeholders to refine high level requirements, create use-cases and data-flow designs, and ensure delivery of documentation and acceptance criteria.

Knowledge of ITIL service delivery and DevOps is advantageous, and experience with Waterfall development helps ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Telecommunication or related field.
• Experience with ITIL Service Delivery is an advantage.
• Experience in DevOps and Waterfall system development.

Responsibilities

• Accept high level requirements from business and refine them with stakeholders.
• Develop, review, negotiate and prioritize requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop necessary use-cases/test scenarios and role analyses as input to design.
• Confirm delivery and completion of all requirements documentation and secure business sponsor agreement.
• Distribute and communicate requirements documents to IT stakeholders (formal stage gate, esp. if design outsourced).
• Design technical solutions from high level to low level; include data flow and database schemas.
• Develop technical design to support development, execution and operations of the service.
• Develop service acceptance criteria and propose performance levels for new service.
• Review and verify service requirements with users and create the service development plan.
• Propose, design and optimize customer solutions for improved performance and stability.

SYSTEM ANALYST

A professional at this position level must have the following responsibilities

• Accept high level requirements received from business and work with the business to refine the requirements
• Develop, review, negotiate and prioritize requirements with stakeholders
• Develop necessary use-cases/test scenarios (application and infrastructure) and role analyses as an input to design
• Confirm delivery and completion of all requirements documentation and secure agreement of business sponsor
• Distribute and communicate requirements documents to all IT stakeholders (formal stage gate, especially if design onwards is outsourced)
• Design technical solution including high level (entity –relationship, data flow) to low level (field structures, database schemas) design.
• Develop technical design that will support the development, execution and operations of the service
• Develop service acceptance criteria. Propose performance levels for new service
• Review and verify service requirements with users
• Create the service development plan
• Propose, design and ensure optimization of existing and new customer solutions for improved performance and stability.
• Discover and design new business opportunities
• Design, scale and optimize existing landscapes in TNB

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunication or related field
• Understanding of ITIL Service Delivery processes is an advantage
• Experience in DevOps and Waterfall system development.
