Job summary

Seven Retail Group in Malaysia is launching a new swim school concept across Selangor, starting in Ampang, and we’re looking for passionate, energetic instructors to join our founding coaching team.

You’ll teach children and adults across skill levels, from building water confidence to stroke refinement, in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment with a clear progression pathway.

Qualifications

• Recognized swim teaching/coaching certification (STA, Austswim, SSI, MSTA, or equivalent).
• Certification sponsorship available for non-certified with strong swimming ability.
• Lifesaving/lifeguard certification preferred (e.g., RL Bronze Medallion).
• Experience teaching swimming to children and/or adults is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach children and/or adults across skill levels, from beginner water confidence to stroke refinement.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
• Contribute to ongoing coaching development and progression pathways.

Job Description:
We are building a new swim school opening across Selangor, starting in Ampang, and we're looking for passionate, energetic instructors to join our founding coaching team. You'll be teaching children and/or adults across various skill levels, from beginner water confidence to stroke refinement, in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.

Job Requirements

Recognized swim teaching/coaching certification (e.g., STA, Austswim, SSI Swim Teacher, MSTA, or equivalent); candidates without certification but with strong swimming ability may be considered for sponsored certification

Valid lifesaving/lifeguard certification (e.g. Royal Lifesaving Bronze Medallion) preferred

Prior experience teaching swimming to children and/or adults is an advantage

Additional certifications will be a plus (e.g., CPR/First Aid, competitive coaching levels such as MAS Level 1, water polo/synchro/lifeguard instructor credentials, or specialized infant/toddler aquatics training)
