Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and consolidate sustainability data across APAC sites (energy, water, waste, emissions, packaging, social metrics).
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability reporting aligned to ARYZTA global frameworks (ESG, climate, internal KPIs).
• Maintain sustainability dashboards, trackers, and documentation for data accuracy and audit readiness.
• Assist with external reporting requirements and submissions where applicable.
• Support implementation and tracking of Sustainability programs across APAC, including water reduction, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor progress against targets and identify data gaps or improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate regional sustainability meetings, workshops, and communications.

Job description

This position plays a key role in coordinating environmental and social performance data, supporting emissions, water, waste, sustainable sourcing and packaging initiatives, while embedding sustainable practices across manufacturing sites and offices in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan & Japan. The Sustainability Officer role also assists with supplier engagement, internal communications, and continuous improvement activities, helping drive consistency, transparency, and measurable progress across the region.

The role is ideally suited to a detail‑oriented and proactive professional who is passionate about sustainability, comfortable working with data, and able to collaborate across cultures, geographies, and functions within a fast‑paced APAC business environment.

Key Responsibilities Sustainability Data & Reporting

Collect, validate, and consolidate sustainability data across APAC sites (energy, water, waste, emissions, packaging, social metrics).

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability reporting aligned to ARYZTA global frameworks (e.g. ESG, climate, and internal KPIs).

Maintain sustainability dashboards, trackers, and documentation to ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and consistency.

Assist with external reporting requirements and submissions where applicable.

Sustainability Initiatives

Support implementation and tracking of Sustainability programs across APAC, including: Water reduction and energy efficiency initiatives, Waste and plastic reduction programs and Sustainable sourcing initiatives

Monitor progress against targets and identify data gaps or improvement opportunities.

Assist with site‑level sustainability action plans and continuous improvement projects.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Work closely with site managers, operations, quality, procurement, and WHS teams across APAC.

Provide day‑to‑day sustainability support to regional sites, responding to queries and data requests.

Coordinate regional sustainability meetings, workshops, and communications.

Support the rollout and localisation of ARYZTA global sustainability policies and procedures in APAC.

Assist with tracking regulatory and customer sustainability requirements.

Help ensure sites are aligned with internal governance standards and reporting expectations.

Assist with internal sustainability communications, presentations, and engagement materials.

Support sustainability training, awareness campaigns, and culture‑building initiatives.

Contribute to internal updates and success stories showcasing APAC sustainability progress.

Provide administrative and project support to the Sustainability Manager and APAC Management.

Support audits, assessments, and data reviews as required.
