Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking a Surveyor to join our team. The Surveyor is responsible for carrying out surveying works throughout the various phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements, calculations and survey data are accurate and properly documented.

Responsibilities include verifying data, preparing sketches and reports, computing geodetic measurements, locating sites for geophysical prospecting when required, planning surveys, coordinating with engineers and clients, and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Land Surveying or Geo-spatial Information and Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Completed at least 1 full cycle of a building project.
• Good understanding of surveying methods and site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of survey data and calculations at survey sites.
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps and survey reports.
• Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data for positions and elevations.
• Locate and mark sites for geophysical prospecting when required.
• Plan and conduct surveys to establish baselines and elevations.
• Coordinate findings with engineers, architects, clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving surveying-related issues on site.
• Maintain records and documentation of all survey activities.
• Ensure surveying works follow project specifications and safety requirements.
• Adhere to workplace safety practices.
