Job summary

JAC Recruitment represents a fast-growing F&B supply‑chain ecommerce platform seeking a Software Engineer in Selangor, Malaysia. You will translate product requirements into scalable designs, build data pipelines, and automate batch processes to optimize inventory and margins.

You will modernize the stack from PHP to TypeScript, work with AWS services, and contribute to dashboards and analytics that measure performance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, and analytics.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, RDS, Lambda) and IaC tools (AWS CDK, Terraform).
• Experience with multi-service systems and external APIs.
• Ability to build reliable scheduled batch processes.
• Comfort with proposing optimizations and challenging costly solutions.

Responsibilities

• Convert product requirements into scalable designs.
• Automate supply chain processes including demand forecasting and PO generation.
• Build data pipelines and analytics for margin, inventory, waste.
• Deliver e-commerce enhancements from insights.
• Design data models and dashboards for supply chain management.
• Develop analytical SQL and reporting for performance.
• Own production support and continuous improvement.
• Support modernization from PHP to TypeScript.
