Job summary

UST Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, test, and implement business applications and decision-support tools for supply chain operations.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Technical Lead in an Agile/Scrum team, reviewing current designs, defining future-state solutions, and delivering high-quality software features across backend and frontend components.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and relational database design.
• Experience with OOP and design patterns.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications in Agile/Scrum.
• Backend and frontend development experience.

Responsibilities

• Review current architecture, designs, and code.
• Collaborate with Tech Lead to define future-state technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement application features.
• Develop and maintain both backend and frontend components.
• Design, develop, and optimize database components.
• Participate in code reviews and SDLC best practices.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and document technical work.
