Job Title: Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

Work Site: Penang, Malaysia

Job Objective: MCC has extensive experience in the manufacturing and delivery of high-quality semiconductors products, including extensive marketing and sales network throughout the world: China, Americas, EMEA, APAC. We are looking for a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist with at least 5 years’ experience in Semiconductor industry.

• What you will do:
  • Support supplier sourcing activities across the semiconductor supply chain, including foundries, OSATs, and IC design houses
  • Assist in supplier evaluation and selection based on business and project requirements
  • Support price discussions and basic commercial negotiations with suppliers
  • Coordinate with suppliers on order follow-up, delivery schedules, and capacity updates
  • Collect and track market information, including capacity, pricing, and industry trends
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Sales) to support supply chain activities
  • Assist in new supplier onboarding, including documentation, NDA, and qualification processes
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and responsiveness
  • Support NPI and production activities by coordinating with suppliers on readiness and execution
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• What you will bring:
  • Education Background/ Major: Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in electronics or semiconductors
  • Experience (Must): At least 5 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Knowledge (Ideal):
    • Experience in semiconductor companies such as foundries, OSATs, or IC design houses, with exposure to procurement, supply chain, or quality functions
    • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow, including wafer fabrication and packaging/testing
    • Familiar with supplier coordination, sourcing activities, or order management
  • Abilities/Qualities:
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
    • Proficient in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Skills/Certifications:
    • Good communication skills and willingness to learn supplier management and negotiation
    • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and organization skills
