Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a procurement/operations professional to monitor inventory, generate BPOs, and coordinate with suppliers across the supply chain. The role involves ensuring accurate documentation, translating Chinese communications, and supporting PO conversion and receiving processes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field, fresh graduates are welcome, and travel to HQ in Johor may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock.
• Generate Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) to replenish warehouse stock based on forecast demand and stock thresholds.
• Coordinate with suppliers on BPO confirmations, shipment updates, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ensure all BPOs are accurate, properly documented, and comply with company procurement policies.
• Check and verify Import Documents (Proforma Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading), prepare payment requests.
• Manage and monitor the conversion of BPOs into Purchase Orders (POs).
• Liaise with warehouse and finance teams to ensure smooth receiving and invoicing processes.
• Communicate effectively in Chinese, as the role requires frequent coordination with Chinese-speaking suppliers and business partners.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
