Job summary

Superlon Worldwide Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including order fulfillment, shipping, and inter-company transactions across countries. You will ensure accurate documentation and on-time deliveries while coordinating with overseas stakeholders.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in SCM and at least 2 years in supply chain, logistics, or order fulfilment, with knowledge of shipping docs and incoterms.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in SCM or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or order fulfilment.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documents and import/export processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities from order confirmation to shipment and closure.
• Process inter-company transactions across countries, including POs, invoicing, and shipment instructions.
• Prepare and coordinate shipping documents: invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, COs, customs declarations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs to arrange import/export shipments and timely delivery.
• Monitor shipment status, customs clearance and delivery progress; resolve delays and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Production Planning, Warehouse, Finance and overseas teams to ensure order fulfilment.

Job description

Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities covering shipping, logistics, order fulfilment, inventory coordination and inter-company transactions between Superlon entities in different countries. The role ensures timely and accurate movement of goods and documentation, supports import/export compliance, coordinates cross-border related-party transactions and works closely with internal and overseas stakeholders to maintain reliable supply and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities from order confirmation and material planning through shipment, delivery and transaction closure.
2. Process and coordinate inter-company transactions between related companies in different countries, including sales and purchase orders, transfer pricing-related documentation, invoicing support, shipment instructions, delivery documents and reconciliation of transaction status with relevant departments.
3. Prepare, review and coordinate shipping and trade documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading / air waybills, certificates of origin, customs declarations, permits and other import/export documents as required.
4. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, transporters, warehouses and overseas counterparts to arrange import and export shipments and ensure timely delivery.
5. Monitor shipment schedules, vessel or flight status, customs clearance and delivery progress; proactively resolve delays, documentation discrepancies and logistics issues.
6. Coordinate closely with Sales, Purchasing, Production Planning, Warehouse, Finance and overseas related companies to ensure accurate order fulfilment, inventory availability, shipment readiness and transaction completion.
7. Support inventory planning and stock movement by monitoring demand, supply, lead times, stock levels and inter-company requirements to reduce shortages, excess inventory and urgent freight costs.
8. Maintain accurate records of shipping, logistics and inter-company transactions and ensure documents are complete, traceable and available for audit, customs, finance and management review.
9. Ensure supply chain and shipping activities comply with company procedures, Incoterms, applicable customs and trade requirements, import/export regulations and internal control requirements.
10. Prepare supply chain reports and KPIs covering shipment performance, delivery status, inventory movement, freight cost, order fulfilment and other relevant operational measures, and recommend improvement actions.
11. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve lead time, logistics cost, delivery reliability, inventory efficiency and supply chain visibility.
12. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management that are reasonably related to the role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, shipping, import/export or order fulfilment is preferred; strong candidates with relevant industrial training may also be considered.
• Good working knowledge of shipping documentation, import/export processes, freight coordination and international trade practices.
• Able to process and coordinate inter-company or related-party transactions across countries with strong attention to document accuracy, transaction flow and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement coordination, inventory, warehousing, logistics, shipping and customer fulfilment.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across departments and with overseas stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and exposure to AutoCount accounting system and/or ERP systems such as Oracle Netsuite or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, certificates of origin, free trade agreements and freight cost control is an advantage.
