Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure quality of fabrication on Metal Works and CNC Machining. Candidate should have 2–5 years hands-on QA experience and strong data analysis, with supplier audits and continuous improvement focus.

The role requires independent work, good communication with internal and external process owners, and adherence to ISO standards. Training and development opportunities are available in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Hands-on QA in fabrication on metal works and CNC machining.
Experience with IQA/IPQA/OQA inspections.
Strong data analysis and supplier performance monitoring.
Ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor day-to-day inspection operations on vendors supplied products.
To liaise with the incoming inspection team and buyer on supplier quality issues.
Supplier quality performance monitoring, evaluation & drive for improvement.
To support the Purchasing department in the supplier quality performance evaluation & supplier audit.
Participate in supplier audit, qualify or disqualify suppliers according to organization's standards.
Maintain successful relationships with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing & regulatory departments.
Assist in the development and implementation of supplier management programs.
To compile monthly supplier performance evaluation data.
To perform IQA weekly quality data collection and data analysis for the KPI reporting.
To coordinate root cause analysis, corrective action, preventive action on supplier quality issues and promote mistake proofing approach.
Assist in QMS establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement.
Assist customer audit and third party QMS certification assessment.
Other duties and assignments as instructed by the QA Manager from time to time.
To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure.
