Job summary

Sinergia Talents in Malaysia is seeking a high‑caliber Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier quality audits, SCARs, and root-cause corrective actions while coordinating with customers on failure analyses.

The role requires MSA, SPC, FMEA, GD&T proficiency and hands‑on analysis with SEM EDX, FTIR, GCMS, CSAM, plus Lean/Six Sigma experience; open to Mechanical, Electrical or Materials Engineering backgrounds.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
• Candidate must have at least a Post Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality audits and handle supplier and internal part quality issues and project management.
• Apply MSA, SPC, FMEA and GD&T knowledge to supplier processes and products.
• Review SCARs and 8D methods and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Drive supplier technical applications and development of failure analysis with customers.
• Oversee outsourcing of supplier quality management activities.
• Manage incoming quality inspection, MRB and nonconforming parts processes.
• Support Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and Social Management requirements.

Job description

• Supplier Quality Audit, Customer or internal complaints on part quality issues and project management
• Knowledge of MSA, SPC, FMEA and GD & T
• Review and analyze supplier SCAR and 8D methodology and root cause corrective action effectiveness
• Drive the supplier technical application and development of failure analysis with customer
• Outsourcing Supplier Quality Management
• Incoming Quality Inspection, MRB and Control of Nonconforming parts process
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
• Knowledge of Quality Management System, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and Social Management requirements
