Job summary

Village Grocer Holdings Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a full-time Store Associate to greet customers, advise on products and ensure their shopping experience meets needs.

You will stay updated on product information, manage stock counts, liaise with Receiving, and follow safety rules while maintaining cleanliness on the shop floor and storeroom.

This role includes health insurance, additional leave, maternity and parental leave, with opportunities for promotion.

• Greet customers properly and recommend items meeting their needs.

• Perform stock counts weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and health & safety in store and storeroom.

• Responsible to follow up with Department Superiors on orders in regular basis.


• Close working relationship with Receiving Department and involved in receiving goods by checking freshness, quality of product and expiry dates (all Fresh Market Departments).


• Perform stock count on weekly, monthly and yearly basis.


• Responsible to abide safety operation rules & regulation in store.


• Perform housekeeping, ensure cleanliness and health & safety measurement in storeroom and selling floor.
