Job summary

UNITAR International University is seeking a Partner School Engagement Counsellor (Executive) to drive new student recruitment and nurture ongoing relationships with potential and current UNITAR students in Malaysia. The role includes meeting sales targets, coordinating Open Days and exhibitions, and supporting the Sales team with initiatives.

A bachelor’s degree and sales/education exposure are preferred. You will work closely with stakeholders, communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
• Experience in Sales or Education is advantageous.
• Familiar with Salesforce CRM or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or Tamil a bonus.
• Friendly, warm, and open-minded.
• Digitally literate and numerically capable; comfortable with technology and numbers.
• Interest in education and understanding of Malaysia's education sector is a plus.
• Willing to learn and driven for success.

Responsibilities

• Drive new student recruitment by contacting and counselling potential UNITAR students.
• Encourage current UNITAR students to progress to the next education level.
• Achieve sales targets set by Management.
• Manage and oversee events related to the department (Open Days, public exhibitions).
• Execute activities and initiatives under the Sales team to develop and upscale the team.
• Create and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the reporting manager.
• Adhere to policies and systems set by the Sales Department.
