Job summary

HSBC Malaysia welcomes students for an internship across International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB). You will gain hands-on exposure, participate in real projects, and develop professional and banking knowledge in a real working environment while building valuable skills and expanding your network.

During the 3–6 month program, you’ll receive practical training, work with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing initiatives in modern banking and technology-enabled services.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT/Computer Science (Programming) or other disciplines with strong interest in banking and technology-enabled services.
• Proficient in English communication skills (verbal & written).
• Strong learning mindset and a collaborative approach when working with multiple stakeholders.
• Confident using Microsoft 365: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia.

International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB)

We help customers stay on top of everyday banking while managing, protecting and growing their wealth. With HSBC’s global network and deep expertise, we support individuals, families, entrepreneurs and investors across markets and as an intern, you’ll get hands‑on exposure to the work that makes that happen.

Qualifications - External

• Able to work full‑time from Oct/Nov 2026 for 3–6 months.
• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT/Computer Science (Programming) /other disciplines welcome with a strong interest in banking and technology-enabled services.
