• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience in property/construction sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE status is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Bukit Mertajam and travel as required.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English for stakeholder communication.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise civil engineering projects ensuring structural integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare civil and structural drawings and calculations; analyze structural systems for safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage project planning and coordination with architects, contractors, authorities, and engineers; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee site supervision including inspections, safety practices, and risk management.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders; present technical solutions and support tender documentation.

1) Responsible for designing, planning, and supervising construction projects, focusing on structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulations.

2) Technical Design & Analysis

Prepare civil and structural drawings and calculations.

Analyse structural systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

3) Project Management, Planning & Coordination

Collaborate with architects, contractors, authorities and other engineers.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related queries.

4) Site Supervision

Conduct inspections to monitor construction progress and workmanship.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Oversee safety practices and risk management on-site.

5) Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with clients to understand project requirements.

Present technical solutions and updates to Client, stakeholders and project team.

Support tender preparation and documentation.

Qualification & Experiance:

Min 5 years working experience as Civil Engineering and related experience, under property/ construction and development industry.

Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent. Professional Engineer (PE) status is an advantage.

Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Mertajam and willing to travel.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
