Job summary

Outsourced is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsperson to produce high-quality REVIT and AutoCAD drawings for multi-disciplinary projects. The role is fully remote with standard hours and collaboration with designers and senior draftspeople.

Responsibilities include reviewing input from clients and specialists, coordinating drawings, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules. The ideal candidate has strong CAD skills and proactive communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' industry experience in a consulting environment.
• Strong REVIT and AutoCAD skills, including interfacing with other software.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry helps.
• Proactive, time-conscious team player with clear communication.

• Prepare structural and civil drawings in REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Review client, surveyor, architect and sub-consultant information for design impact.
• Identify anomalies and set-out discrepancies; clarify briefing sketches and data.
• Prepare detailed drawings in coordination with Designer and Senior Draftsperson.
• Liaise with consultants, councils and government bodies to obtain required information.
• Manage drawing transmittals, logging and filing per quality control systems.
• Deliver to set project schedules while working autonomously.

Structural Draftsperson (REVIT & AutoCAD) | Remote | 9am-6pm MYT

We're an Australia structural and civil consulting firm looking for an experienced Structural Draftsperson to join our team. You'll produce high-quality documentation for multi-disciplinary projects ranging from $500K to $20M, working closely with our designers and senior drafts people.

Work arrangement

• Fully remote


• Working hours: 9am-6pm Malaysia Time (MYT)

What you'll do

• Prepare structural and civil drawings in REVIT and AutoCAD


• Review client, surveyor, architect and sub-consultant information to flag anything that could affect the final design


• Support the designer by identifying anomalies and set-out discrepancies, and by clarifying briefing sketches and data


• Prepare detailed drawings in coordination with the Designer and Senior Draftsperson


• Liaise with consultants, council and government bodies to obtain the information needed to complete projects


• Manage drawing transmittals, logging and filing in line with our quality control systems


• Deliver to set project schedules while working autonomously

What we're looking for

• Solid knowledge of reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry, with a good understanding of framing and broader construction practices
