Job summary

Mohd Asbi Associates Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform design and analysis for RC, steel, and composite structures. You will handle private and government projects, prepare detailed drawings, analyses, and reports, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure quality and adherence to codes.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in major structural software, and fluency in English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of working experience with Consultants in structural engineering.
• Proficiency with Staad Pro, Orion, Esteem, Tekla Structure.
• AutoCAD and Revit knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Malay is required.
• Willing to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for RC, Steel and Composite Codes of Practice.
• Undertake structural design for private and government projects.
• Prepare design analyses, drawings, technical reports and calculation reports.
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all engineering works adhere to procedures, quality standards, and best practices.
• Oversee project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
• Review specifications, contracts, standards, and codes of practice.
• Travel to Klang Valley or beyond for meetings and site visits.
• Maintain project documentation and timesheets per ISO system.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management.
