Job summary

Meinhardt Malaysia is seeking a Structural Draughtsperson/BIM/CAD Technician for our Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur office. You will produce detailed drawings for RC, prestressed, and steel works, ensuring compliance with project standards and authorities.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required, with BIM modelling as a plus. Minimum 2 years in a similar role and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit; BIM modelling is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years as Structural Draughtsperson or BIM/CAD Technician.
Fresh graduates with AutoCAD certification are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed structural layouts for reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and steel works.
Ensure drawings comply with local authority requirements and project specs.
Coordinate with Engineers and Job Captain to translate concepts into drawings.
Carry out clash detection and maintain coordinated drawing packages.
Prepare drawing deliverables and track revisions.
