Job summary

Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) invites applications for an Assistant Manager (Strategy & Transformation) to drive the department as second-in-command. You will lead leadership discussions for the organization-wide plan, align objectives across units, and oversee budgeting and KPI reporting.

The role requires 7+ years in strategic planning, with degrees in related fields, and strong skills in governance, advisory work, and stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and regulators.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategic planning and corporate planning.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in related fields from a recognised university.
• Expertise in strategy formulation, governance, and advisory roles.
• Experience with regulators and government-facing stakeholders is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with C-suite and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead formal and informal discussions with the leadership team for the org-wide business plan.
• Align corporate objectives with sub-units by cascading targets, initiatives, manpower planning and budgeting.
• Track progress against long-term objectives and make recommendations.
• Prepare proposals for organizational improvement initiatives and monitor progress.
• Ensure performance tracking at Corporate, Division and Department levels.
• Coordinate SPAN KPI formulation, finalisation and reporting.
• Prepare and monitor the department's annual budget.
• Conduct studies and analyses as directed by the CEO and assist with communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
