We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Group Strategy department under Group Strategy & Transformation division as a Vice President, Strategic Initiatives.

The Role

A successful candidate in this position will be accountable for leading of assigned bank-wide transformation initiatives:

• Support implementation, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of workstream outputs.
• Work closely with the team and stakeholders to operationalise plans into concrete deliverables, ensuring alignment to programme requirements and timelines.

While domain teams (e.g. IT, Data, AI) will deliver their respective initiatives, this role will act as the overall programme orchestrator, ensuring alignment, execution discipline, and successful delivery at the enterprise level.

Strategic planning lead

• Coordinate end-to-end execution across multiple initiatives
• Manages cross-functional activities across Credit, Operations, Risk, IT, and Data teams
• Track deliverables across workstreams and ensure alignment to overall programme plan
• Support SVP in driving transformation initiatives such as AI adoption, automation, and process redesign
• Facilitate coordination between business and technology teams during implementation

Project Management:

• Drive programme governance processes (SteerCo, working groups, status reviews)
• Prepare programme updates, dashboards, and reporting materials
• Ensure structured tracking of risks, issues, and action items
• Escalate key issues and decision points to SVP in a timely manner
• Act as central coordination point for key stakeholders across business and functions
• Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables across teams

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or equivalent

Experience

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or transformation
• Experience in programme management, PMO, or cross-functional project coordination
• Exposure to large-scale transformation or strategic initiatives preferred
