Job summary

HTM Pharmacy Group in Ipoh seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead operations across logistics, receiving, QA, picking and packing. You will ensure efficient workflows, manage manpower, budgets, stock takes and delivery roasters, and drive process improvements. Bahasa Cina helpful; long hours and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Warehousing KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates fluent in Bahasa Cina preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with counterparts conversing in Bahasa Cina.
• Willing to work in long hours included weekends and public holidays (if needed).

Responsibilities

• Maintain high operations efficiency for all divisions in the warehouse.
• Manage operations manpower and arrange covers for staff.
• Control warehouse expenses including headcount and budgeting.
• Oversee lorries, delivery schedules and route maps.
• Manage stock takes and ensure timely deliveries and returns.
• Conduct daily briefing and task assignment for warehouse team.
• Monitor goods expiry dates and reallocate staff to meet needs.
• Forecast operational volume and re-allocate staff accordingly.
