Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Bayan Lepas, Penang is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to coordinate end-to-end planning, ensuring production quantities align with inventory levels and customer delivery requirements.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Production, R&D, Finance, Materials, Logistics, Service Parts, Customer Service and CM/ODM, using ERP systems to develop and communicate production and shipment plans that support business goals and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Excellent comprehension and strong writing/communication skills.
• Highly computer literate with word-processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Fluency in English is needed.
• Team player and mature.
• Basic escalation management skill.
• Able to cope with changing and fast paced environment.
• Highly efficient and organized with good planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates end-to-end supply chain planning, including when goods should be produced and in what quantity, while optimizing the balance between customer delivery requirements and inventory levels.
• Interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Production, R&D, Finance, Materials, Logistics, Service Part Organization, Customer Service and CM/ODM to compile, develop, validate and communicate production/shipment plans and associated strategies that support overall business objectives.
• Uses ERP system(s) for processes such as inventory tracking, supplier scheduling, process and workflow management, etc
• Establishes and manages relationships with suppliers/partners
• Perform production planning activities, e.g., formulate build plans, release work orders/plan, expediting shipment
• Scrub and evaluate material availability, inventory level
• Work with CM to pull in materials and products allocation
• Work on customers expedite enquiries and order rescheduling
• Maintain planning system attributes and settings
• Support Division on supply chain analysis (e.g., backlog, demand), shipment projection
