Job summary

Port Klang-based MFE seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, materials planning, inventory coordination and logistics for the site. You will ensure reliable material availability, cost-efficient sourcing and on-time delivery to support manufacturing and customer requirements, while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years in procurement and supply chain.
• Experience in manufacturing or aluminium/metal fabrication industries is preferred.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review supply chain strategies, policies and procedures aligned with operational requirements and company objectives.
• Lead sourcing, evaluation, selection and qualification of local and overseas suppliers.
• Oversee procurement of aluminium, manufacturing consumables, machinery and other operational needs.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and contractual conditions.
• Coordinate forecasts and material requirements with Sales, Planning and Production.
• Lead, coach and develop purchasing and cost estimation teams.
