Job summary

Pentamaster Equipment Manufacturing Inc. (Official) is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Penang to assure high-quality, low-volume components from suppliers.

You will lead audits, assess feasibility and risk, and drive engineering changes to ensure timely, reliable delivery in a fast-paced HCLV environment. The role requires strong QA systems knowledge (ISO 9001, IATF 16949), GD&T interpretation, and robust problem-solving with 8D/5 Whys.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing supplier quality systems in manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret GD&T and specifications.
• Strong root-cause analysis skills using 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone.
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and control plans for supplier processes.
• Proven ability to drive corrective actions and monitor supplier performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality and capability.
• Assess feasibility, risk, and DFM/DFA during sourcing.
• Manage supplier projects and engineering change control.
• Evaluate emergency readiness for high-priority parts and downtime scenarios.
• Lead QA and continuous improvement with FAI, SCAR/8D actions, and metrics tracking.
