Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Buying Team Leader to drive supplier performance improvements and ensure accurate demand signals through PO validation and capacity planning.

You will lead initiatives across cross-functional teams, manage key supplier relationships, and report plans and results to senior leadership. A strong background in SAP/Rapid Response and excellent negotiation skills are expected, with a minimum of five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives performance improvement with key suppliers by identifying and resolving complex systemic problems.
• Validate POs to support demand, measure and improve supplier Line of Balances and past-dues.
• Review yield/quality performance and resolve capacity issues to ensure stable demand signals.
• Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers and customers on supplier performance and improvement actions.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to drive improvements in OTTR, Past Due, Volatility and Linearity at the site.
