Celestica in Malaysia seeks a senior purchasing specialist/buying team leader to own material planning, sourcing, and supplier relations. You will bridge production needs with supplier capabilities as a high‑impact individual contributor, maintaining optimal inventory and meeting schedules.

You will autonomously manage POs, CTB, LT, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to minimize shortages and drive seamless manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP experience and knowledge of purchasing workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 6–8 years of procurement/supply chain experience in electronics manufacturing or tech.

Responsabilités

• Own material planning, strategic sourcing, and supplier relations.
• Manage CTB, RFQs, LT assessments, and address bottlenecks.
• Optimize inventory to support production and reduce overstocking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Manage POs and coordinate onboarding with AP team.
• Coordinate with QA and logistics to return defective materials and secure credits.
