Celestica is hiring a Buying Team Leader 3 in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia. You will drive supplier performance, validate purchase orders, and lead cross-functional teams to improve OTTR, lead times and cost efficiency.

Five+ years in a related role and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers, internal teams, and executives while leveraging SAP, Rapid Response, and Celestica tools.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.
• Expert understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications.
• Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
• Good financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve high complexity process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and solve a variety of tasks timely.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with diverse customers.

Responsabilités

• Drives supplier performance improvement by addressing complex systemic problems.
• Validates POs to support demand; monitors LOB and past dues; reviews yield and capacity.
• Ensures suppliers deliver holistic improvements and rapid issue resolution.
• Implements supplier recovery and development tools for world-class performance.
• Uses SAP, Rapid Response and Celestica databases to analyze supplier performance.
• Interfaces with all organization levels, suppliers and customers; reports plans and results.
