Job summary

Celestica Malaysia in Senai, Johor, seeks a detail-oriented Production Planner to manage scheduling and materials planning for designated product lines. You will align customer demand with manufacturing capacity, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and optimize ERP/MRP data to ensure on-time product delivery in a high-speed semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

6 to 8 years of production planning experience
Experience in semiconductor or capital equipment industries
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
Experience with ERP and MRP systems
Strong data entry and math skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Create production schedules and validate data for MPS/MRP based on forecasts
Align customer purchase orders with active manufacturing schedules; coordinate releases and material kitting
Manage system parameters and generate standard reports; process RMA approvals
Identify component shortages and coordinate substitutions; assist with EOL analyses
Monitor shipments against committed dates and escalate delays to Lead Planner
