Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, partners with a leading organisation in the Professional Services industry to hire a Regional Treasury Manager based in Malaysia. The role leads regional treasury activities including cash management, liquidity planning, and banking operations across multiple countries.

The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and provide strategic treasury support to regional leadership, with deep expertise in cash management and treasury systems.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of corporate treasury experience in an MNC or regional HQ environment.
• Experience managing multi-country treasury activities, inter company funding, and cross-border transactions.
• Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, and bank operations.
• Familiarity with SAP/Oracle and electronic banking portals.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimisation across multiple countries.
• Manage inter company funding, dividend repatriation, and cross-border cash movements with FX cost control.
• Optimise cash pooling and ZBA structures regionally.
• Oversee banking operations, including bank account administration, KYC, signatory management, and banking relationships.
• Negotiate banking fees, FX spreads, and treasury-related service costs.
• Deliver treasury reporting to senior leadership, including the Regional CFO and Group Treasurer.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, local banking regulations, capital controls, and transfer pricing requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Controlling, and business stakeholders to support funding requirements and strategic initiatives.
