Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, partners with a leading multinational in the Professional Services sector to recruit a Group Tax Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The role leads the Group's global tax function, ensuring compliance, governance and effective tax risk management across international operations. You will provide strategic tax leadership and commercially focused advisory support to drive business growth and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of corporate tax experience.
• Experience in a Big Four firm, advisory practice or multinational environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate taxation and international tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's global tax function across international jurisdictions.
• Oversee tax compliance, reporting and governance processes.
• Provide commercially focused tax advice to senior leadership.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies and risk controls.
• Manage transfer pricing framework and cross-border matters.
• Coordinate with external advisers and authorities on tax matters.
• Support tax provisions and accounting in financial reporting.
• Lead tax audits and disputes resolution where required.
