Job summary

Personnel Alter Ego, a Canadian-headquartered aerospace company, is seeking a Senior Regional Procurement Leader to drive deployment of global category strategies across the APAC region, with preference for Malaysia. You will partner with Training Centres and regional Operations to align demand with category actions and ensure continuity.

In this role you will collaborate with Global Category Management, manage supplier governance, drive compliant sourcing, and report on regional KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
• Experience supporting multiple sites or countries in a matrix.
• Experience deploying sourcing strategies and leading change initiatives.
• Strong procurement, supplier-management, analytics and communication skills.
• Professional English required; additional regional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional deployment plans aligned with approved global category strategies.
• Coordinate implementation of sourcing initiatives, supplier transitions and long-term agreements.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks and adoption; escalate barriers requiring leadership decisions.
• Serve as the primary procurement partner for Training Centres and regional Operations stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships, understand demand and connect priorities to category actions.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and change activities that support adoption and continuity.
• Partner with Global Category Excellence and Deployment Lead to apply playbooks, governance and KPIs.
• Provide execution feedback to improve category plans and deployment methods.
• Drive use of approved suppliers, agreements and buying channels.
• Support supplier classification, rationalisation and performance-improvement activity.
• Identify non-compliant buying patterns and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
