• Familiarity with cost monitoring and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase, ensuring expenditure remains within approved budgets
• Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify project progress and material quantities
• Analyse contractor submissions, quotations, and invoices for accuracy and compliance
• Manage variation orders and change requests, assessing their financial implications
• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts for project completion
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure cost alignment with project specifications
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and cost records
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to optimise project finances
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations
