Job summary

Saint-Gobain Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Purchasing Manager to support and optimize procurement and supply chain operations. You will lead cross-functional teams in procurement, production planning, logistics and warehousing to improve efficiency and control working capital.

The role focuses on supplier performance, inventory optimization and cost-effective procurement to help achieve financial targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business Admin/Finance/Economy or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years in a multinational environment with ERP exposure.
Ability to interpret instructions and deliver results.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Supply Chain services to meet financial KPIs.
Develop and coach teams across procurement, production planning, logistics and warehousing.
Maintain internal controls for delivered price, inventory and finished goods movement.
Drive working capital management by reviewing supplier terms and stock levels.
Collaborate on regional/global SC initiatives to optimize group leverage.
Ensure timely reports to support decision making and performance tracking.
Identify process improvements and innovations across the supply chain.
