AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn Bhd is establishing a new Batu Kawan site in Penang and seeks a hands-on Project Purchasing Executive to drive procurement for projects. You will manage purchase orders, on-time delivery, and supplier collaboration within cross-functional teams.

The role involves early-stage supplier engagement with Engineering, ownership of sourcing strategies, and ensuring material readiness for production while safeguarding project timelines and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in sourcing to order fulfillment in manufacturing.
• Experience with semiconductor supply chain is a plus.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Knowledge of incoterms and import/export regulations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee procurement activities for projects, align with requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering during early phases to onboard suppliers.
• Ensure supplier qualification aligns with project timelines.
• Identify cost savings and support value engineering with cross-functional teams.
• Act as interface between project teams, suppliers and procurement functions.
• Coordinate demand and delivery plans to meet milestones.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Support supplier development and localization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with contractual frameworks and internal policies.
• Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions.
