Job summary

Genting Energy in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Cost Controller to plan, monitor, and control project costs, budgets and forecasts through the full project lifecycle. You will partner with Project Managers, Procurement and Finance to ensure delivery within approved budgets and timetables.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in project controls, strong financial modelling and reporting skills, and experience with SAP, Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, quantity surveying, project management, business administration, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets, cost control and cost reporting structures.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Track commitments, actual costs, accruals, and cost to complete.
• Ensure all project costs are accurately recorded and allocated.
• Prepare monthly cost forecasts and EAC reports.
• Conduct trend analysis and evaluate project financials.
• Provide cash flow forecasting.
