Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Production Planner to monitor WIP/FG inventory and provide management with regular production status updates. The role requires establishing comprehensive production plans, coordinating with customers on stock and shipment plans, and ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and WI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning or related role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP and MRP systems is essential.
• Strong communication, time management and leadership abilities; fluent in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIP and FG inventory levels and provide regular status updates to management.
• Establish daily, weekly, monthly and yearly production plans based on demand, capacity and customer requirements.
• Communicate with customers on factory stock and simulate shipment plans.
• Ensure compliance with WI, safety, GMP and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor, maintain, execute and improve Production MRP and issue work orders to production.
• Summarize end-month stock closing reports for WIP and FG.
• Report any discrepancies in production planning to management.
• Liaise with purchasing/production/warehouse on supply chain matters.
• Oversee warehouse activities including housekeeping and 5S of all facilities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
