Job summary

PENANG AUTOMATION CLUSTER SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented planner to develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. The role requires coordinating production workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple parts.

You will collaborate with OQA, IQC, Store and Production to resolve issues and minimize disruption.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Business Management or Supply Chain or equivalent.
3–4 years of related experience, preferably in metal fabrication/manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
Strong understanding of production flow, capacity planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on sales forecast, inventory levels and capacity.
Identify bottlenecks, delays or quality issues in the production process.
Plan and coordinate production workflow for one or more parts; prioritize operations to minimize delays.
Collaborate with Q.A. (OQA/IQA), Store and Production to complete assigned tasks.
Provide timely updates on customer forecast KPIs and On-Time Delivery performance.
Communicate ETA matters with customers' buyers and update delays with reasons.
Ensure documentation is filled in an orderly and retrievable manner.
